An aeroplane having two or more engines can seek Extended Diversion Time Operations (EDTO) approval in accordance with CAR OPS 1.
AMC to CAR OPS 1.246 provides information on the requirements governing EDTO approval.
A formal application to obtain an EDTO approval can be made using Form SM 126.
